How coaching works

Coaching is a 12-week process built around your life. Here's what happens at each step, from your free intro call to your 12-week re-test.

The steps

  1. Step 1: Free 20-minute intro call

A short video call to see if coaching is a good fit for you.

    • We talk about how you feel, what you have tried and what you want to change.
    • I explain how coaching works and answer your questions.
    • If it's not a good fit, I'll tell you. There's no pressure to sign up.
  2. Step 2: Intake questionnaire and baseline

After you sign up, I send you an intake questionnaire. Then we write down where you're starting from.

    • You rate your energy, sleep and stress.
    • We take a few simple measures, like waist size and grip strength.
    • These numbers are just a starting point to compare against later. They are not a medical test.
  3. Step 3: 1:1 video sessions, [SESSION_FREQUENCY]

One-on-one online sessions where we pick one or two habits at a time and fit them into your real week.

    • We work across the four levers: sleep and daily rhythm, food, movement and strength, stress and recovery.
    • Each session, we look at what worked, what got in the way and what to try next.
  4. Step 4: Message check-ins between sessions

Short messages between sessions keep you on track.

    • Share how a habit is going, ask a question or flag a busy week.
    • We adjust the plan as your life changes.
  5. Step 5: 12-week re-test and next steps

At 12 weeks, we repeat your baseline and look at what changed.

    • You re-rate your energy, sleep and stress, and we repeat the simple measures.
    • Then we decide together: keep going with ongoing coaching, or carry on with your own plan.

What you'll need

No special plan or big life overhaul. Just these three things.

30 to 60 minutes a week

That covers your session or check-in, plus a little time for the habit you are working on.

A phone

For video sessions and check-ins. A computer works too, if you prefer.

Willingness to try small experiments

Not every habit will stick, and that's fine. We try something small, see how it goes and adjust.

Questions about the process

What happens after I book the intro call?

You'll get the call details by email. We talk for 20 minutes. If we both think coaching is a good fit, I'll send you the next steps, including the intake questionnaire.

How do I fill out the intake questionnaire?

I send it to you directly after you sign up. It's not a form on this website. It asks about your energy, sleep, stress and daily habits, so we have a clear place to start.

Will my doctor be involved?

You stay in charge of your health, and your doctor stays in the loop. I'm not a doctor, and coaching is not medical care. If something comes up that needs medical care, I'll refer you to your doctor. Talk with them before you change your diet, exercise or medications.

Can you promise results?

No. Everyone is different, and I can't promise specific results. What I can offer is a clear process, honest feedback and support while you try small changes that fit your life.

What happens after 12 weeks?

We repeat your baseline and look at what changed. Then you choose: keep going with ongoing coaching, or carry on with your own plan. Either one is fine.
